The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the minutes of the March meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,102.09.
General Fund $1,812.30; State Fund $1,289.79. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Keith Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
There was one order of Unfinished Business. Resolution # 2012-4-2, updating the EMA Response in case of a catastrophic event was presented to the Supervisors. A motion to accept the update was made by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
There were two orders of New Business. The first order of business was a request from Chevron Appalachia to place a temporary holding tank at a drilling site on Kinter Station Road. This tank will only be used while the drilling is taking place. The Supervisors were presented with a Sewage Application Number 2060141. Mr. Muir motioned to approve the request. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
The final order of business was the passing of Ordinance Number 47. This is an ordinance amending Ordinance #23 which was in acted in 1984. Pine Township is under obligation to pass this Ordinance by FEMA. It is an updated Flood Plan for the township. The new maps are in the office if anyone would like to see them. Mr. Muir motioned to approve Ordinance 47. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
The only Announcement was Spring Clean Up will be held June 22nd, 23rd and 24th. The hours will be 7AM thru 7PM. The dumpsters will be behind the Township Building. There will not be curbside pick up. As in previous years, no tires, paint, oil, liquids or demolition materials.
Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the April Meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The April Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:40.
