PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS

MINUTES

September 4th, 2012

The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were two Guest Speakers.  Allen Shirley and Jim Crawford both Green Township Supervisors.  They came to request help with Laurel Run Road, a road shared by both township.  Mr. Shultz told them as soon as Pine Township was done tar and chipping the road master would call and set up a work date.

There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the minutes of the August meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was made by

Mr. Shultz and seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $1,102.01.

General Fund $1102.01; State Fund $0.  Mr. Cameron seconded.  Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by

Mr. Shultz and seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.

Unfinished Business consisted of opening tar and chip bids.  The following bids were received:

Motion to accept low bids was made by Ryan Shultz and seconded by Chris Cameron.

There were no orders of New Business.

 

The only Announcement was the office will be closed from September 7th thru September 16th, 2012.  The answering machine will be on and the Supervisors and Roadmaster will still be available.

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the September Meeting.  Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  The September Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:30.
