PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MINUTES
December 3rd, 2012





The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There was one Guest Speaker.   Bill Wieserman addressed the Supervisors concerning a new and different was to maintain the roads in the township. 

There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the minutes of the November meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was made by
Mr. Cameron and seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,307.56.
General Fund $1,963.69; State Fund $1,343.87.  Mr. Cameron seconded.  Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

Unfinished Business consisted of the passing of the 2013 budget resolutions.
Budget Resolution 2013-112 and the 2013 Tax Levy Resolution 2013-113. The 2013 Budget Resolution shows Total Revenues at $479,455 all funds; and Total Expenditure as $382,461 all funds. The 2013 Tax Levy Resolution 2011-113, which is unchanged since last year, shows 3.6 mils real estate tax and $5 per capita tax.   Mr. Shultz moved to pass both resolutions, Mr. Cameron seconded.  Motion carried.

Under New Business, Supervisors are required to meet on the first Monday of the New Year for a Reorganization Meeting.  The Supervisors will meet on Monday January 7th, 2013 at the Pine Township Municipal Building at 7:00PM.  The regular January meeting will follow.  Also required, the township auditors are to meet the day after the Reorganization Meeting for their yearly meeting which would be Tuesday January 8th, 2013. Mr. Shultz moved to advertise, Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

Although not on the agenda there was one order of New Business.  Mr. Shultz moved to telephone bid 500 tons of Pen Dot approved antiskid, delivered to the township building.  Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried.

There were no Announcements.

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the December Meeting.  Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried.  The December Regular Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
