The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the minutes of the April meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $12,870.37
General Fund $11,844.34; State Fund $1,026.03 Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
Unfinished Business consisted of opening oil and stone bids. Stone bids per ton: New Enterprise $22.55; Homer Sleek $20.24; and low bid Ritchey Trucking $18.89. Oil bids per gallon: Midland $1.993; Russell Standard Corp $1.824 and low bid Suit-Kote $1.816. Keith Muir motioned to accept low bid in both openings, Chris Cameron seconded. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
There was no New Business.
Mr. Shultz Announced Spring Clean Up was a success once again this year. Pine Township collected 11 tons of refuge at a cost of $1,127.50.
Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the May Meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The May Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:15.
