The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present.  Keith Muir was absent. Chris Cameron called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers. 

There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the minutes of the October meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $5,824
General Fund $1,698.26; State Fund $4,126.00 Mr. Shultz seconded.  Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Cameron seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

There was no Unfinished Business.

There were three orders of New Business. First order of business was Resolution #110413; a resolution authorizing ICMSA to construct and maintain the Alverda Water Project under the existing provisions of Water Ordinance 42. A motion to pass Resolution #110413 was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried. Resolution passed.

The second order of business was the opening of bids for 1000 tons of anti skid advertised by the Supervisors.  The following bids were received:

Homer Sleek, Johnstown, PA    $13.00
Marion Center Supply, Marion Center, PA  $14.50
New Enterprise Stone, New Enterprise, PA$22.80
Tom Ritchey Transport, Northern Cambria, PA   $10.99
Ligonier Stone and Lime, Ligonier, PA$19.70

Mr. Cameron moved to accept the lowest price from Tom Ritchey contingent upon receiving state approved documentation.  Mr. Shultz seconded the motion.  Motion passed.


The final order of new business was the presenting of the 2014 budget to the Supervisors.  Total expected revenue is $482,003.  Total expected expenditures are $382,572.  Mr. Cameron moved to advertise the 2014 budget for public inspection. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion.  Motion carried.



There were two Announcements. Mr. Cameron thanked the Pine Township Volunteer Fire Company for their help on Trick or Treat Day. The 2014 proposed budget will be available for public inspection at the Township Office during regular business hours from now until the next meeting, December 2nd, 2013 


Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the November Meeting.  Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. 
Motion carried.  The November Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:20.
