The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Keith Muir were present. Chris Cameron was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There was one Guest Speaker Ernie Blough from Suit-Kote.  He spoke to the Supervisors about Reclamation. This process would make the roads smoother but would cost more than tar and chipping.

Citizens Comments consisted of several citizens of the community asking if they could start a park committee to revitalize the Pine Township Park located in Heilwood. The Supervisors thanked the residents for being community minded and gave them their support.

The Board approved the minutes of the March 2014 meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $8,222.43.

General Fund $3,171.73; State Fund $5,050.70. Mr. Shultz seconded.  Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by

Mr. Muir and seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

Under Unfinished Business Supervisors scheduled the annual road inspection for April 19th. They also tabled any discussion on purchasing a tractor until all Supervisors could be present. All motions made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz.

New Business Consisted of a motion from Mr. Muir to name Bill Cochran, EMA Coordinator. This being more of a formality do to last year’s formation of the Penns Manor EMA District. A motion to second was made by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

There was one Announcement. Mr. Shultz announced Spring Clean UP will be held May 16th, 17th, 18th. at the Pine Township Municipal Building 7AM thru 7PM.   

Mr. Muir then moved to Adjourn the April Meeting.  Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. 

Motion carried.  The April Regular Meeting was adjourned at 8:15.
