The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers. 

Citizens Comments were made by several residents from Tipperary Road concerning an apparent leak from the water line. 

The Board approved the minutes of the April meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 

Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $13,067.53.
General Fund $5,889.26; State Fund $7,178.27. Mr. Cameron seconded.  Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.  Motion carried.

Unfinished Business was the decision of whether to hire a part time police force. This item has been discussed at two previous meetings with out any negative reaction.  Chris Cameron motioned to hire the Cherry Tree police force to patrol Pine Township. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. Although Mr. Muir was absent, he had shown his support at previous meetings.

New Business consisted of a motion to advertise for resurfacing materials. It is the Supervisors estimate that 8.32 miles of road will be resurfaced this summer.  Mr. Shultz made a motion to advertise for 850 ton of #8 stone, 100 ton of #2 stone, 100 ton of #3 stone and 25,000 gallons of CRS2.  Motion was seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

Mr. Shultz Announced Spring Clean UP on May 15th, 16th, and 17th.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the May Meeting.  Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. 
Motion carried.  The May Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:34PM.
