PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
September 8th 2015
The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.

There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the Minutes of the August meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.
      
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
 
Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $4,265.94General Fund $2,765.80; State Fund $1,500.14. Mr. Cameron seconded.  Motion carried.

The Police Report for August 2015 was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.

Unfinished Business consisted of opening bids for advertised PENNDOT approved antiskid.
Homer Sleek$18.00 per ton New Enterprise$23.50 per ton
Richey Trucking $13.99 per ton Snyder Excavating $12.75 per ton

Mr. Shultz motioned to accept low bid, Snyder Excavation and to have all 1000 tons delivered immediately. Mr. Cameron second the motion.  Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

Under New Business, although not on the agenda, Mr. Muir in his capacity of Fire Chief asked Mr. Shultz and Mr. Cameron for $4,950 for the VFC to pay their insurance. He explained if he did not get the funds the fire company would have to close its doors. Mr. Shultz motioned to pay the Insurance bill, Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Mr. Muir abstained from the vote. Motion carried.

There were no Announcements.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the September Meeting.  Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. 
Motion carried.  The September Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:35PM.
