The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz was absent. Chris Cameron called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There was one Guest Speaker. Bob Gage from GBT Realty, working on the Dollar General project in Strongstown, was there to answer questions from the Supervisors.
The Citizens Comments were in regards to the water project on Tipperary Road. The residents living there feel the water pressure is too low and they should not be forced to take it. Mr. Cameron suggested the Supervisors make an appointment with ICMSA and discuss the problem.
The Board approved the Minutes of the September meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $24,189.06: General Fund$11,282.93; State Fund $12,906.13. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion carried.
The Police Report for September 2015 was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
There was no Unfinished Business.
Under New Business, The Pine Township Supervisors where ask to review and approve the land usage plans for the Dollar General retail store to be located in Strongstown, PA. A motion to approve was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Mr. Cameron Announced Pine Township Trick or Treat is to be held October 31st, between the hours of 1 and 3 PM.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the October Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion.
Motion carried. The October Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 PM.
