The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the Minutes of the January meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,446.18
General Fund$3,446.18; State Fund $0. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion carried.
The Police Report for January 2016 was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Supervisors’ Discussion consisted of four topics. The continuation of purchasing Hugill trash bags for the convenience of the residents. Spring Clean Up and the Supervisors’ road inspections. The final topic was concerning the Pine Township Park.
There was no Unfinished Business.
New Business Although not on the agenda but brought up during Supervisors Discussion, Mr. Muir brought up the subject of hiring a grant writer to try to get grant money to improve the playground. The process has become so complicated the best way to receive a grant is through a grant writer. Mr. Cameron motioned to look into hiring a grant writer. Mr. Shultz seconded. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
There were no Announcements.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the February Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion.
Motion carried. The February Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:35PM.
