The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.

There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the Minutes of the June meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $17,922.47; General Funds $8,141.01, State Funds $9,781.46.  Mr. Cameron seconded, motion carried.

There was no Police Report for June due to the contract problems.
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussion consisted of acquiring an ordinance from the Solicitor to hire back the Cherry Tree Police and a letter from PENNDOT concerning the condition of 403 Hwy North and their plans to repair it.

There was no Unfinished Business.

Under New Business. Mr. Shultz motioned to ask the Solicitor for an ordinance authorizing cooperation in governmental functions, police service, between Pine Township and Cherry Tree Borough. 
Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion passed. 

There were no Public Comments.

There were no Announcements.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the July Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried.  The July 2016 Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
