The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
Guest Speaker was Dave Saviro, operator of Dog Hollow Speedway.
Citizens Comments consisted of numerous complaints concerning the Dog Hollow Speedway noise and late hours. After much discussion, Mr. Shultz told Mr. Saviro to end the races by midnight. Mr. Saviro agreed and the residents were satisfied with the time.
The Board approved the Minutes of the July meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $50,161.21; General Funds $1,537.78, State Funds $48,412.89. Mr. Cameron seconded, motion carried.
There was no Police Report for July due to the contract problems.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussion consisted of the Supervisors displeasure with ICMSA, Kinter Station pipe replacement by Chevron and budget limitations.
Under Unfinished Business a motion to advertise Ordinance #50, an ordinance authorizing cooperation in governmental functions, police service, between Pine Township and Cherry Tree Borough, was made by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.
There was no New Business.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the August Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The August 2016 Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 PM.
