The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.

The Citizens Comments were from the residents of Tipperary Road. They have water issues that are not being resolved by ICMSA.

The Board approved the Minutes of the August meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $7,015; General Funds $5,948.20, State Funds $1,066.89.  Mr. Cameron seconded, motion carried.

There was no Police Report for August due to the contract problems.
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by 
Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussion consisted of three topics: the hiring of a new road worker to replace one that is leaving, the Dollar General Alley and the Kinter Station Bridge. Mr. Cameron gave a brief summary of a meeting he had with PENDOT.

Unfinished Business consisted of two topics. The first was the passing and enacting of Ordinance # 50. Mr. Muir motioned to enact the Ordinance, Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement. Ordinance #50 is an ordinance authorizing cooperation in governmental functions between Pine Township and Cherry Tree Borough. The second order of unfinished business was the reading and signing of the Cherry Tree Police Contract. There were still a few questions about hours and training so Mr. Shultz moved to table the agreement until the September meeting after the details were worked out.

Under New Business Mr. Muir motioned to advertise for 500 ton of PENDOT approved anti-skid. 
Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion passed. 

Mr. Shultz Announced Trick or Treat for Pine Township will be October 30th, from 5-7.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the September Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried.  The September 2016 Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 PM.
