The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the Minutes of the June 2017 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $31,970.12; General Funds $11,775.72, State Funds $20,194.40. Mr. Shultz seconded, motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved accept the report. Mr. Shultz seconded, motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed Stiles Station and the road resurfacing project in August.
There was no Unfinished Business.
There was no New Business.
Public Comments consisted of a complaint by two residents about the speed in which the Cherry Tree Police pursue speeding cars. Mr. Shultz assured the residents that the police are trained in high speed pursuit, but also said he would mention the complaint at the monthly Police Meeting.
There were no Township Announcements.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The July Meeting was adjourned at 7:08 PM.
