The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz was absent. Mr. Cameron called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the Minutes of the October 2017 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $ 10,247.95; General Funds $8,950.01, State Funds $1,297.94. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.

The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved accept the report. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed the report from DEP concerning Country Meadows trailer court. All results were acceptable.

Unfinished Business was the opening and reading of bids for 1000 tons of PennDOT approved
anti-skid. Brawley Trucking $21.97 per ton; Homer Sleek & Sons $15.50 per ton; Ligonier Stone & Lime $22.99 per ton; Ritchey Trucking $15.99 per ton.
Mr. Muir motioned to accept low bid from Homer Sleek & Sons at $15.50 per ton. Mr. Cameron seconded, motion carried.
New Business consisted of the reading and accepting of the new police contract. The contract differs from last year’s by implementing a $1,000 once a year payment for vehicle maintenance. Mr. Muir motioned to accept the contract, Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Also under New Business, the Supervisors were presented with the 2018 Budget. Total Revenues $712,107 Total Expenditures $559,775. The Estimated Reserves from 2017 are $247,630. The Budget does not include a tax increase.  Mr. Muir motioned to advertise the 2018 Budget. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion carried.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried.  The November Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
