The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the Minutes of the November 2017 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $7,362.93; General Funds $7,362.93, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved accept the report. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed
The Unfinished Business consisted of the passing of Resolution 2018-1 which establishes the tax rate for 2018. The tax rate is 1 mil on real estate and $5 per capita. This is the same as 2017. Resolution 2018-2 which appropriates specific sums estimated to be required for the purpose of general government in 2018. Mr. Shultz moved to enact both resolutions, Mr. Cameron seconded. The Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.
New Business consisted of a motion by Mr. Shultz to Advertise the Reorganization Meeting for January 2nd. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion passed.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The December Meeting was adjourned at 7:12 PM.
