The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the Minutes of the July 2018 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $4,508.17; General Funds $4,508.17, State Funds $0. Mr. Shultz seconded, motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to accept the report. Mr. Shultz seconded, motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed the completion of Stiles Station Bridge. It was completed July 7th, 2018 at a cost of $92,365.00.
There was no Unfinished Business to discuss.
Under New Business Mr. Shultz proposed a fall clean up this year. Mr. Cameron agreed this was something they could try. Mr. Shultz motion to have a fall clean up on October 6th and 7th, 2018.
Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Mr. Shultz also requested a motion for the purchase of a new radio that would connect Pine Township with County 911. He explained our current radios do not connect to Emergency Services and in the case of an emergency that could be critical. Mr. Cameron motioned to buy one radio that would be used for emergencies only. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Also discussed was the PA First Responder Tax Credit Act 172. Mr. Cameron moved to table this until Mr. Muir was present. Mr. Shultz seconded. The vote was tabled.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The August 2018 Meeting was adjourned at 7:21 PM.
