The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
Under Citizens Comments a resident complained about the speeding vehicles on Tipperary Road. He ask the police to monitor the site.
The Board approved the Minutes of the October 2018 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $6,164.86; General Funds $6,164.86, State Funds $0. Mr. Shultz seconded, motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved accept the report. Mr. Shultz seconded, motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed new radio and bolts and a bin for the garage.
Under Unfinished Business the Supervisors were presented with the proposed 2019 Budget. Total Revenues $391,436, total expenditures are $474,379. The estimated reserves from 2018 being $225,.909. The purposed tax rate is .001 mils or 1 cent per $100 of assessment. No change from last year. A motion was made by Chris Cameron to accept and advertise the budget. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Under New Business a review of the Emergency plan for Zalar Zoo Preschool/Daycare was accepted by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz.
Other new business was a request from Cyntha Kohar for a holding tank on property she owns. It is a horse farm with no residents. Mr. Shultz moved to accept Resolution 2018-1105, which permits the holding tank. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried.
There were no Public Comments
Under Supervisor Announcements the Supervisors reminded everyone to remember to vote on Tuesday.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The November Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
