The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
The Board approved the Minutes of the November meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $5,156.55; General Funds $1,247.17, State Funds $3,909.38.
The December Balances being General Fund $195,076.24 and State Fund $176,800.17.
Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. The new contract was presented to the Supervisors. The police are asking once again for $1,000 vehicle maintenance and a raise from $25 per hour to $30. Mr. Cameron moved to accept the report and motioned to accept the new contract Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed new lights for the Ford Truck, rehiring Doug Rodgers for snow removal, and the Hearing for one of the dangerous structures.
The Unfinished Business consisted or the passing of Resolution 2019-122 which establishes the tax rate for 2020. The tax rate will remain 1mil on real estate and $5 per capita. Mr. Cameron moved to pass the resolution; Mr. Muir seconded. Resolution passed with all Supervisors in agreement.
Next Mr. Cameron moved to pass resolution 2019-123 which appropriates specific sums estimated to be required for the purpose of general government in 2020. Mr. Shultz seconded. Resolution passed with all Supervisors in agreement.
New Business consisted of a motion to advertise the Reorganization Meeting for January 6th, at 7:00PM with the regular meeting to follow, by Mr. Shultz. Seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The December Meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM.
