PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
March 2nd, 2020
The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.

The Board approved the Minutes of the February meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $ 5,449.79
General Funds $3,221.99, State Funds $2,227.80. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The March Balances are General Fund $189,962.44 and State Fund $155,861.82.

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed a date for Spring Clean Up. Also discussed was getting a recycling trailer to park at the township building for recycling plastic and glass.

There was no Unfinished Business

New Business consisted of a motion by Mr. Shultz to schedule Spring Clean Up for May 1st 2nd and 3rd from 7AM to 7PM. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried. 
Mr. Shultz also moved to table any vote on the recycling trailer to the next meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The last item of new business, not on the agenda, was a request from the Police Department to erect No Parking Signs at the intersection of Pine Street and First Street. The reason is due to parking on both sides of the street on Saturday nights and Sunday mornings, Pine Street becomes impassable. This is a public safety issue. Mr. Muir moved to buy and erect the signs; Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

There were no Public Comments.

Mr. Shultz Announced Pine Township received $128,344.18 in Liquid Fuels Money to use on township roads.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the March Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried.  The March Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
