The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
The Board approved the Minutes of the November 2nd, 2020 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $ 14,754.37
General Funds $5,219.21, State Funds $9,535.16. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $259,906.23 and State Fund $269,844.35.
The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed equipment maintenance and repair. A possible hocky rink in the old ball field.
The Unfinished Business consisted or the passing of Resolution 2020-122 which establishes the tax rate for 2021. The tax rate will remain 1 mil on real estate and $5 per capita. Mr. Cameron moved to pass the resolution; Mr. Muir seconded. Resolution passed with all Supervisors in agreement.
Next Mr. Cameron moved to pass resolution 2020-123 which appropriates specific sums estimated to be required for the purpose of general government in 2021. Mr. Shultz seconded. Resolution passed with all Supervisors in agreement. The 2021 Budget is set at a total revenue of $914,611 and total expenditures at $496,682 all funds.
There was no New Business.
There were no Public Comments.
The Supervisors Announced the 2021 Reorganization Meeting will be held Jan 4th at 7:00 PM. Regular meeting to follow.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the December Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The December 2020. Meeting was adjourned at 7:20 PM.
