The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were two Guest Speakers. Rick Valazak had some questions about the campground at the
4-wheeler club. Ron Valazak was asking the Supervisors questions concerning a pipe near his home.
The Board approved the Minutes of the April 2021 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $2,184.96
General Funds $2,184.96, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $270,056.39 and State Fund $385,493.25.
The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed the upcoming Spring Clean Up, and a litter pickup or adopt a road program for township roads.
The Unfinished Business consisted of opening and awarding bids for road resurfacing. The bids were as follows:
Stone Bid, 1500 ton of #8 stone/ Brawley Trucking, Inc 21.95/Homer Sleek and Sons24.62/
Savayka, LLC /22.89. Bid was awarded to low bid, Brawley Trucking, Inc.
Oil Bid, 40,000 gallons of E-3 delivered and applied/Midland Asphalt Materials, Inc 1.68/
Suit-Kote Corporation 1.73. Bid was awarded to low bid Midland Asphalt Materials, Inc.
Oil Bid 15,000 gallons of MC-70 delivered and applied/Midland Asphalt Materials, Inc 2.675/
Suit-Kote Corporation 2.725. Bid was awarded to low bid Midland Asphalt Materials, Inc.
There was no New Business.

Supervisors Announced Spring Clean Up May 14th, 15th, and 16th.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the May Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The May Meeting was adjourned at 8:00 PM.
