The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
The Board approved the Minutes of the September 2021 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $55,391.98
General Funds $9,341.09, State Funds $46,050.89. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $426,545.36 and State Fund $ 259,901.50.
The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed expanding Comcast area with franchise fees and trick or treat.
There was no Unfinished Business
New Business consisted of a motion from Mr. Muir to schedule Trick or Treat for Pine Township on October 31st between the hours of 4PM and 6PM. Mr. Cameron seconded; motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement. Also under new business was a motion by
Mr. Cameron to use all franchise fee money received from Comcast to expand existing service area. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.
There were no Public Comments.
Supervisors Announced Trick or Treat October 31st 4PM-6PM
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the October Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The October Meeting was adjourned at 7:22 PM.
