MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
 August 5th, 2024





The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:20 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron, and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers. 

The Board approved the Minutes of the July 2024 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,493.82.
General Funds $3,493.82, State Funds $0. Mr. Cameron seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $321,471.56 and State Fund $472,038.04.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, 
seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 

The Supervisors Discussed the grader sold to Earnest Kessey was picked up just before the meeting and the issues with it stalling on 403 while turning it around to load on the trailer. 

Unfinished Business consisted of an update on the countywide new emergency services authority. 
No update this month.  

No bids were received for the hydraulic broom for sale on Municibid. It was relisted for sale and the reserve price was lowered to $750.

There was no New Business 

There were no Public comments.

Announcements: Pine Twp VFC sub sale Saturday, August 10th.  

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the August Meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The August meeting was adjourned 7:41 PM.
