The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:20 PM (immediately following the Reorganization Meeting) at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron, and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
The Board approved the Minutes of the December 2023 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $4,232.01.
General Funds $4,232.01, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $668,812.11 and State Fund $355,474.38.
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed the requested increase in the hourly wage for current police coverage and the future of the police contract with Cherry Tree Borough. They also discussed meeting with the Clymer Borough Police regarding future police coverage for the township. Also discussed was the grader that is currently listed for sale on Municibid and our website.

New Business
The Cherry Tree Borough Police Department have requested an increase to their wage from $36 an hour to $40. Mr. Shultz made a motion to give them the increase, Mr. Muir seconded the motion; Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
There were no Public Comments

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the January Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The January 2024 meeting was adjourned 7:34 PM.
