MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
June 3rd, 2024The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron, and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
The Board approved the Minutes of the May 2024 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $9,972.35.
General Funds $9,972.35, State Funds $0. Mr. Cameron seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $330,976.22 and State Fund $$472,288.45.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed road work being done.
Unfinished Business consisted of an update on the countywide new emergency services authority. District meetings are being held to select a district representative to serve on the board. Our district 4 has 3 probable candidates.
The next update was regarding the pull behind hydraulic broom. We have not heard anything from the township interested broom so we will move forward with listing it on Municibid.
There was no New Business
Public comments: Earl George was wanting an update on the driveway mirror requested from PennDOT on SR422.
Announcements: Sub sale June 8th. Spring Clean-Up June 7th, 8th & 9th from 7 am – 7 pm.
Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the June Meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The June meeting was adjourned 7:38 PM.
