The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron, and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
The Board approved the Minutes of the February 2024 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $4,426.61.
General Funds $4,426.61, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $671,316.39 and State Fund $469,520.47.
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed the significant amounts spent for repairs on the 2010 International truck over the last couple of years and suggested advertising it on Municibid with a reserve price of $50,000. Mr. Shultz said he is still waiting to hear back from East American with regards to grinding down Stiles Station & Springfield Roads. Mr. Shultz gave an update on the Kinter Station Bridge.
There was no Unfinished Business
New Business. Although not on the agenda, a motion was made by Mr. Cameron to advertise the 2010 International on Municibid with a reserve price of $50,000, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
Public Comments: Jim & Greg Davis wanted an update on the Township Veteran Banner Project.
There were no Announcements
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the March Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The March 2024 meeting was adjourned 7:25 PM.
