MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
 November 4th, 2024








The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron, and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers 

The Board approved the Minutes of the October 2024 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $15,189.37.
General Funds $5,514.37, State Funds $9.675.00. Mr. Cameron seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $382,021.15 and State Fund $466,239.19.
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Shultz, 
seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 
 
The Supervisors Discussed fall clean-up and applying for the LSA grant to replace the Ford F550. 

Unfinished Business consisted of an update for the countywide new emergency services authority. 
No new update. They are still working to establish the annual cost.

New Business consisted of a motion by Mr. Shultz to apply for the LSA Grant to purchase a Ford F600 to replace the Ford F550. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The second order of new business was a motion by Mr. Shultz to approve the purchase of the Buffalo Turbine BT-CPTO debris blower for the tractor from Revels Turf & Tractor LLC for $9.675.00. Seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 
Next, the Selective Insurance policy renewed on 11/1/2024. The current personal property coverage for the municipal building is $35,974. Motion by Mr. Shultz to increase the municipal building property coverage to $65,000. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion carried.
The last order of new business consisted of a motion by Mr. Cameron to advertise the 2025 Budget Report. The 2025 Annual Budget Report will be available for public inspection at the township office during regular business until December 2nd, 2024. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried.

There were no Public Comments.
There were no Announcements 

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the November meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The November meeting was adjourned 7:20 PM.
