The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Keith Muir, and Chris Cameron were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.
There were no Guest Speakers
The Board approved the Minutes of the January 2025 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $8,216.49.
General Funds $3,375.36, State Funds $4,841.13. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $360,419.58 and State Fund $459,875.68.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir,
seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed repairs to the gas tank for the Ford F550 should be done this week. Reconstruction for Stiles Station Road. Mr. Shultz will contact our PennDot representative to come out to get measurements and prepare bid package.
Unfinished Business consisted of an update for the countywide new emergency services authority.
On January 29th at 7:00 pm at the Homer Center Jr/Sr High School, a Special Meeting was held for the purpose of deliberating a proposed ordinance to delegate administration of EMS to a County-created authority. This ordinance is only to form the Authority to get an accurate count of participants. Of the boroughs and municipalities that attended the meetings, 7 decided to table making a decision, with 4 of the 7 wanting to pass the ordinance at their meetings, 2 municipalities failed to have a quorum and Washington & White Township voted not to pass the ordinance.
January 29, 2025 Pine Township Special Meeting Minutes: The Pine Township Special Meeting was called to order at 9:20 pm with Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron in attendance. Motion by Ryan Shultz to enact the ordinance delegating the administration of EMS to a county-created authority on a mutually agreeable date, seconded by Chris Cameron. Vote to approve the ordinance to proceed further to start the formation of the authority. Roll call- Yes 2 No 0. Motion carried. Motion to adjourn by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Meeting was adjourned at 9:23 pm.

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the February meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The February meeting was adjourned at 7:22PM.
