MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
 January 6th, 2025





The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:20 PM immediately following the reorganization meeting at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Keith Muir, and Chris Cameron were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were no Guest Speakers 

The Board approved the Minutes of the December 2024 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $20,317.73.
General Funds $20,317.73, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $364,714.64 and State Fund $462,982.27.
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Shultz, 
seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 
 
The Supervisors Discussed the Peterbilt truck taken to the factory for repairs.

Unfinished Business consisted of an update for the countywide new emergency services authority. Public meeting have been set for January 29th and January 30th at 7:00 pm at the Homer Center High School. Pine Township Supervisors need to respond with the date that works best to attend the meeting to sign the Ordinance to form the EMS Authority. A motion by Mr. Cameron to select January 29th to approve sign the Ordinance, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

New Business consisted of renewing the contract with The Cherry Tree Borough Police Department with no rate increase for 2025. Motion by Mr. Cameron to renew, Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement. 

There were no Public Comments 
Announcements: Pine Township Fire Company Sub sale this Saturday, January 11th 

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the January meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The January meeting was adjourned at 7:33PM.
