Ordinance 3
PROHIBITING THE PLACING AND LOCATING OF OBSTRUCTIONS OR PROPERTY, INCLUDING MOTOR VEHICLES, ON THE TOWNSHIP ROADS OF PINE TOWNSHIP, INDIANA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA: PROVIDING FINES AND PENALTIES AND FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, certain residents of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, have been placing and locating obstructions and property, including motor vehicles, upon the Township roads of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania; and
WHEREAS, the same are nuisances and dangerous to the traveling public and impede and obstruct the Supervisors of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, from maintaining said Township roads in a passable and safe condition for the traveling public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, as follows:
SECTION I.
HENCEFORTH, the obstructing and placing of property, including motor vehicles, upon the Township roads of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, is prohibited.
SECTION II
Owners of obstructions and property, including motor vehicles, placed or located on the Township roads of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, are hereby subject to a fine of $25.00, and a reasonable cost of removing the same and upon conviction thereof before any Justice of the Peace in and for said Township shall be liable to a fine for each and every offense and in default of such fine and cost to imprisonment for not more than thirty days.
SECTION III
This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon the Enactment thereof.
